Istanbul Will Become the Global Meeting Point for the Carpet Industry
The International Carpet and Flooring Expo (ICFE), the global meeting point of the carpet industry, will open its doors at İstanbul Expo Center (IFM) for the fourth time between January 6-9, 2027. Positioned as the world's largest carpet trade fair, the event is set to shape the global carpet and flooring trade by bringing together over 500 exhibitors and approximately 35,000 industry professionals from more than 150 countries under one roof.
The International Carpet and Flooring Expo (ICFE) 2027 will be held at the Istanbul Fair Center (İFM) between January 6-9, 2027 by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. with the support of the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters Association (GAHIB) and the İstanbul Carpet Exporters Association (IHIB).
This event combines Türkiye's global strength in carpet production with international trade, bringing together all industry professionals in Istanbul, from manufacturers to importers, wholesalers to chain stores, and architects to interior designers.

The fair, which introduces Türkiye's production power, design capabilities, and strategic geographical location to international buyers, will offer exhibitors the opportunity to open up to new markets, establish export connections, and develop global collaborations.
ICFE 2027 is expected to host over 500 exhibitors and attract approximately 35,000 visitors from more than 150 countries.

Major Customs Regulation to Support International Participation at ICFE 2027
The Directorate General of Customs of the Republic of Türkiye's Ministry of Trade has introduced a significant regulation to support the exhibition and encourage international participation. Under Türkiye's customs legislation, the temporary customs duty applied at a rate of 100% of the FOB value of products brought to the exhibition by international exhibitors has been reduced to 10% exclusively for ICFE 2027.
Implemented following extensive collaboration with the relevant public authorities and industry representatives, this regulation will significantly reduce the financial burden on international companies exhibiting high-value products. The new arrangement is expected to increase international participation from a wide range of countries and make a substantial contribution to the exhibition's international trade volume.

International promotional activities are being carried out for ICFE 2027 in more than 80 countries across 6 continents.
