Sam Antep Gilam, based in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the famous city of Samarkand, manufactures its products under the SAG brand. Today, the company is the market leader in terms of production capacity and product range in Central Asia and the CIS countries. But this was not always the case: the factory began operations back in 2000 as a small workshop with just one carpet-weaving loom. The Uzbek brand SAG offers unique, textured Uzbek carpets from Samarkand, with a production capacity of 19 million square metres per year. SAG offers a wide selection of carpets and carpet coverings made from modal, acrylic, polypropylene, polyester and viscose. The company’s current range includes various types of machine-woven carpets and tufted carpet coverings. In 2025, the company began producing carpet tiles and SPC laminate flooring.
